Halloween fun

We had a fun Halloween season. Here are my little spooks. The kids went to so many fun things this year. I think they dressed up like five times before Halloween. They went to two birthday parties, A friend Halloween party,and to there school carnaval. We also took two kids at a time out on a mom and dad date to the corn maze. We had such a good time getting lost in the maze and riding the cow train! It was dark at the corn maze so I didn't get any pictures. We also got free pumpkins from Jared's work so we had a good time carving pumpkins. Carson didn't want to touch the inside of the pumpkin but Morgan loved it. She played forever with the pumpkin guts and loved getting it all over all of us.

We have been going to the Halloween carnival at the kids school every year since Brook was is in kindergarten. It is a fun time for the kids. Brook and Preston Decided to dog out on us this year and go to a corn maze instead.(sniff, sniff) But we had a good time with the younger kids.

Looks like you had a GREAT Halloween. The corn maze sounds like fun. We always say we are going this year and we never make it...but the kids with mom/dad time might be a good idea to take into next year! Cute Cute Family!

Jared's mom passed away on Monday. We miss her already. Love you mom! Sara Jennet Meldrum Sara Jennet Meldrum, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2009, surrounded by her family. Jennet was born January 6, 1938, in Ogden, Utah, to Shand S. and Elva W. Cunningham. She was the youngest of four siblings, Lorraine Nichols (Malcom), Stanley (Jane), and Rex. She graduated from Davis High School, where she met her sweetheart, David Gurr Meldrum. On October 26, 1956, she and David were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Married at the age of 18, David and Jennet raised each other while raising their six children, Kevin (Cathy), Mark (Debbie), Shawn (Teresa), Julie Simmons (Jason), Jared (Cindy), and Matthew (Nicole). Preston turned 12 years old on the 29th. I can't believe it! Where does the time go? I know I always say this but my little boy can't be going into junior high school. If you know Preston you know that he is a great kid. He loves telling jokes and is really good at it. He has the best laugh. It always puts a smile on my face. He is always willing to help us out when we need it. He has kept himself busy this last year by spending time with his friends, swimming on the swim team, scouting and of course at this age he loves his video games. He loves kicking back with Jared and playing World of Warcraft. Preston we love you! Happy Birthday!
