Gingerbread Houses

Christmas 2010
I got some gingerbread kits this year and thought it would be fun to make some houses. We had such a good time. We had teams for the houses and the kids were so creative. Brook and London worked together, Preston and Madison worked together and Jared, me, Carson and Morgan did a house together. I think we will make this a new tradition at our house we had so much fun.

We had fun making our house. One of the kits didn't come with a few of the walls. So Jared and I just wipped up some ginger bread and copied the pattern of the other kits. We made some dogs, trees, and we decided to make a big rock to put in front of our house. I think it was a nice touch.

Brook and London decided to do a "Phineas and Ferb" house so the animal you see on the chimney is Perry and the backside of the house is showing "Phineas and Ferb"doing something fun and crazy for the summer. I loved there creativity. They did a really good job.

Preston and Madison decided to do a rock band house. They made a van and then they had the gingerbread band playing in the front yard. I thought it turned out so cute.

The only picture I got of Jared during this fun was him goofing off with the frosting. He is showing us his big frosting horn.
