Jared's mom passed away on Monday. We miss her already. Love you mom! Sara Jennet Meldrum Sara Jennet Meldrum, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2009, surrounded by her family. Jennet was born January 6, 1938, in Ogden, Utah, to Shand S. and Elva W. Cunningham. She was the youngest of four siblings, Lorraine Nichols (Malcom), Stanley (Jane), and Rex. She graduated from Davis High School, where she met her sweetheart, David Gurr Meldrum. On October 26, 1956, she and David were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Married at the age of 18, David and Jennet raised each other while raising their six children, Kevin (Cathy), Mark (Debbie), Shawn (Teresa), Julie Simmons (Jason), Jared (Cindy), and Matthew (Nicole). They traveled to many parts of the world with their young family before settling in Kaysville, Utah. Wow I have so much to catch up on!
So I have been such a slacker when it comes to my little blog. I have to apologize and repent and hope that you will forgive me for not keeping up with it. I am going to try to do better. Now I want to share a few things that have gone on just in the last couple of weeks. CARSON HAS KAWASAKI DISEASE What is Kawasaki Disease? Well that is what I would have said last week but it is funny how fast you learn about something when you have to deal with it. It all started on July 9th, with Carson waking up with a fever and not feeling well. Of course, I thought he was just coming down with another ear infection and started the Tylenol. Good thing he was getting tubes put in his ears on Friday. I called the doctor and told them that I was sure he had another infection and asked if they still thought we could do ...
