Morgan turned 9 years old. I sure love Morgan. She is full of passion. She loves to take care of us. She is always thinking up little surprises and fun nights to have with her siblings. She loves learning new things and playing with her cousin Lilly and her best friend Bethany. She is the sweetest and I love her hugs and kisses she gives me every day. She learned how to ride a bike and you will often find her out riding for hours. She enjoys life and I am so happy she is ours. Happy Birthday Morgan. You are a light in life to all who know you.
A funny side story to this great celebration. Morgan loves pie so of course we had pie for her birthday. Well she wanted to have her pie(of course) and Jared wasn't feeling so well so we told her to go get her pie and we would have it in our room so Jared could join in the fun. Well as she walked in with her pie she tripped and almost dropped the pie on the floor. But she saved it and everything was fine. But Jared happened to catch a picture of Preston and I talking and of our faces when she almost dropped the pie. I thought it was to funny not to share.

Jared's mom passed away on Monday. We miss her already. Love you mom! Sara Jennet Meldrum Sara Jennet Meldrum, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2009, surrounded by her family. Jennet was born January 6, 1938, in Ogden, Utah, to Shand S. and Elva W. Cunningham. She was the youngest of four siblings, Lorraine Nichols (Malcom), Stanley (Jane), and Rex. She graduated from Davis High School, where she met her sweetheart, David Gurr Meldrum. On October 26, 1956, she and David were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Married at the age of 18, David and Jennet raised each other while raising their six children, Kevin (Cathy), Mark (Debbie), Shawn (Teresa), Julie Simmons (Jason), Jared (Cindy), and Matthew (Nicole). They traveled to many parts of the world with their young family before settling in Kaysville, Utah. Preston turned 12 years old on the 29th. I can't believe it! Where does the time go? I know I always say this but my little boy can't be going into junior high school. If you know Preston you know that he is a great kid. He loves telling jokes and is really good at it. He has the best laugh. It always puts a smile on my face. He is always willing to help us out when we need it. He has kept himself busy this last year by spending time with his friends, swimming on the swim team, scouting and of course at this age he loves his video games. He loves kicking back with Jared and playing World of Warcraft. Preston we love you! Happy Birthday!
