Spring 2012

Spring brought Jared's dad getting really excited about the garden. One fun thing that grandpa did was buy each of the kids a citrus tree to call there own. My kids loved planting those trees and taking care of them all summer long. Spring also brought Brook getting asked to Prom. She got asked by a son of a lady that Jared dated in high school. It was a blind date. His name was Daniel and Brooklynn had a great time. He was a good dancer. She looked beautiful in her dress and my neighbor Holly did her hair. She always does an incredible job. It was so weird for us to have a daughter old enough to go to Prom. Easter Jared and I hosted Easter this year with Jared's family. We did the normal stuff dinner and an Easter egg hunt. How did we make it a whole year already? I can't believe 2012 is over. The older I get the faster the years go by. I am sad because my little family is growing way to fast. I am going to catch you up on the whole year starting with winter after London's birthday. Winter Every year the choir department at the High School puts on a fund raiser called Lovers Feast. I was in it when I went there and this year Brook and my cute niece Kaylee where wenches for the feast. Which means she got to help serve the food.They did perform in a green show before the feast with a maypole. It was fun to watch. I told Brook that I would love to help with the feast so she told her teacher and before I knew it I was teamed up with my sister-in-law Julie to be the ones buying all the food for the feast and working in the kitchen every night. It was a ton of work and long nights but so fun to be a part of the whole thing. Madison loved sixth grade and one of her favorite things they d
